MADE IN GREECE AWARDS 2019: LALIZAS receives two Gold awards from the Greek Marketing Academy
The Made in Greece Awards has been a big celebration for both the academic and the corporate world, honoring manufacturing companies from various industries. The Awards, organised by the Greek Marketing Academy, have been established in order to empower the effort of production plants of companies which are based in Greece.
On the 16th of December, the event took place in Athens, at the Athens Concert Hall, gathering people of significant importance and impact.
LALIZAS has been honored by receiving two Gold awards, one for the Export Excellence for B2B Companies and one for the Best branded B2B product.
Mr. Stavros Lalizas, CEO of the LALIZAS Group of companies, was awarded by Mr. Kostas Fragogiannis, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness.
Distinction in both categories is a great reward for our long-term efforts in producing the best quality safety equipment with the goal of securing people’s safety at sea.
Since 1982, we have been producing superior nautical lifesaving products, with the best price to quality ratio in the market. Based in Piraeus, Greece, at one of the busiest European ports, we continue supporting the local economy while expanding our commercial presence worldwide.

LALIZAS was the only manufacturing company from the Greek nautical industry that received an award by the Evaluation’s Committee.
The Lalizas family would like to express its sincere condolences to the family of Mr. George Avlonitis, founder of the Awards, Chairman of the Greek Marketing Academy and Professor of Marketing at the Athens University of Economics and Business, upon their unexpected loss.

The International Workboat Show is the most efficient place for exhibitors to learn about the latest commercial needs of the marine industry, make strong connections with influential people and be able to showcase the latest trends on the market.
This year’s attendance of the Show was higher than all previous years, and visitors shown a great interest for the products and services that our dedicated and highly informed team was able to offer.
Specifically, Alexander/Ryan Marine & Safety experts attended more than 130 meetings with partners, both leads and suppliers during the 2.5 days of the exhibition.
We were more than honored to attend the dinner that Shipserv hosted in order to mark their 20th anniversary!
It was a great pleasure for Alexander/Ryan Marine & Safety team to meet again with existing partners from around the world and also be introduced to new ones, and inform them about all the new products and services which are available.

Two monumental celebrations took place this year at OTC 2019.
• Alexander/Ryan Marine & Safety celebrated 55 years partnering to keep their customers team members safe and assets operating profitably offshore.
• OTC celebrated 50 years partnering to bridge collaboration throughout the global offshore Oil & Gas industry.
Two great examples of true passion and relentless dedication towards GOING THE DISTANCE.
We met with over 1,215 customers that visited from 43 different countries. Approximately 307 of these customers had the title of Supervisor, Manager or Executive.
We would like to thank these customers who stopped by our booth to learn more about our acquisition with the Lalizas group of companies and the many new safety solutions we are now able to provide through our 200 worldwide service stations.
The Lalizas acquisition allows us to partner with the Lalizas group globally, which also consists of Antipiros, who since 1975 has focused on authorized services from fire-fighting systems and appliances to safety equipment, as well as in various training programs.
Our three brands position a total safety solution.
